Genvium Privacy Policy

Genvium is a product of Auduvant Technologies LLC. This page explains what Genvium collects and why. It adds to the Auduvant Technologies Privacy Policy, which covers everything that applies across our products: your rights, our legal reasons for using information, who we share it with, and how we protect it. Where this page and that policy differ, this page applies to Genvium.

It covers the Genvium web app (webapp.genvium.com) and the Genvium website (www.genvium.com).

At a glance

• The Genvium app keeps your account and the funding work you do in it, and nothing about you for advertising.
• The app uses no analytics. The website uses Google Analytics only if you accept it.
• We never sell your information or use your searches to profile you.
• You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.

1. The Genvium app (webapp.genvium.com)

What we keep

• Your account: first and last name, username, email address, phone number (if you add one), and your password, stored only in a hashed form we cannot read back. If you forget your password, we email you a one-time link that works for 30 minutes.
• Your business profile (if you fill it in): business name, mission, description, how you plan to use funding, team background and traction.
• Your funding work: the opportunities you save, the applications you track with their status, deadlines and notes, your readiness checklists, funding amounts you record as received, and opportunities you add yourself.
• AI drafts you create and how many you have created.
• Sign-in activity: how many times you have signed in, when you last did, and failed sign-in attempts, to protect your account.
• Your settings, such as whether you want deadline reminders, and the notifications we show you in the app.

We do not use your searches, saved opportunities or applications for advertising, profiling or marketing.

AI drafting

When you ask Genvium AI for a draft, we send your business profile and the details of the application you chose to Google's Gemini API to write it. We use Google's paid service, under which Google does not use what we send to train its models. We keep the drafts in your account so you can come back to them.

Cookies in the app

The app uses one cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is essential, holds no personal information itself, and expires after 30 minutes without activity. The app uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

Security information

To stop abuse, the app uses your IP address briefly to limit how many requests can be made in a short time. It is held only in the server's memory and is not saved to our database. Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, keeps technical request logs, which include IP addresses, for up to 30 days to keep the service secure.

Emails we send

• Account emails: password resets and username reminders you ask for.
• Deadline reminders for opportunities you saved, only if you turn them on in the app.
• A monthly email about new funding opportunities. To stop receiving it, email info@genvium.com.

2. The Genvium website (www.genvium.com)

The website has no accounts or forms. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Google Analytics, only with your consent. When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics. Until you accept, Google Analytics stores no cookies on your device; it may send Google a basic, cookie-free signal that the page was visited. If you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> and records the pages and sections you view, how you arrived, your approximate region, and your device and browser type, so we can see how the site is used. We keep this data for 2 months, have Google signals turned off, and do not use it to advertise to you. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your own browser.

Ads. Some pages show an ad from Zawadi Media, another Auduvant Technologies product. These ads use no cookies and build no profile of you; see the Auduvant Technologies Privacy Policy.

Hosting. The website is hosted by GitHub (GitHub Pages), which receives technical information such as your IP address to deliver and secure the site, under its own privacy statement.

3. Service providers

These companies process information for Genvium under contract, only to provide their service:

• Google Cloud: hosting the app, its database and its sign-in sessions, in the United States
• Google (Gemini API): writing AI drafts you ask for
• Resend: delivering our emails
• Google Analytics: website analytics on www.genvium.com, only if you accept
• GitHub: hosting www.genvium.com

To find funding opportunities, we search public sources such as Grants.gov and public web and social media posts. We send none of your information to these sources.

4. How long we keep it

• Your account and everything in it: while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is closed immediately and permanently erased 30 days later.
• Website analytics: 2 months.
• Emails to us: deleted with your account, or, if you have no account, within 30 days after we have answered.
• Hosting security logs: up to 30 days.

5. Your choices and rights

• Download your data: Settings → Export My Data in the app gives you a copy of your account information.
• Correct it: edit your profile in the app, or ask us.
• Delete your account: Settings → Delete Account in the app.
• Website analytics: the Privacy Choices link on www.genvium.com.

6. Children

Genvium is not directed at children under 13. The minimum age for a Genvium account is set out in the Genvium Product Terms.
