How to install the Genvium desktop application on your operating system.

macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel)

  1. Download the appropriate macOS installer from our Install page.
  2. Locate the downloaded .pkg file in your Downloads folder.
  3. Double-click the installer to open it.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts in the macOS installation wizard.
  5. Once finished, open your Applications folder and double-click Genvium to launch the app.

Windows & Linux

The native Windows and Linux clients are currently in development. In the meantime, we recommend accessing your funding dashboard via Genvium Lite directly from your browser.

Installation FAQs

Common questions and troubleshooting steps for setting up Genvium.

Do I need an internet connection to install Genvium?

You need an internet connection to download the initial installer package. However, the installation process itself happens locally on your machine. Once installed, Genvium requires an internet connection to sync the latest funding opportunities and updates.

Where is Genvium installed on my computer?

On macOS, the application is installed in your system's default /Applications directory.

How do I uninstall Genvium?

To completely remove Genvium from your Mac, open your Applications folder, locate the Genvium app, and drag it to the Trash (or right-click and select Move to Trash). Empty your Trash to complete the uninstallation.
